AZIndex 0.8.1 Released

Well, things have been pretty quiet since AZIndex 0.8.0 was released a couple of days ago which, I guess, means that everyone is running with it just fine.  There was one bug reported, though (hat tip to Arnaud for catching that one) and I realized that there really should be a display filter which allows you to modify the contents of your index on a per-item basis.

Hence AZIndex 0.8.1 has arrived.  The new azindex_display_item filter is documented here and I have created a cute little thumbnail index here to show the sort of thing you can do with it.

If you do manage to create an interesting-looking index using any of the new filters, come back here and let us know about it!

  • Hello,

I did install the AZ 8.1 on my WP 3.2.1 (multisites), once activated, I go in the options, and…
AZINDEX_PLUGIN_ERROR: 101 – The required AZIndex database table – wp_blag_3_az_indexes – does not exist. Please deactivate then re-activate the AZIndex plugin to correct the problem.

    aaargh !

    Kind regards

  • You made here terrific information i need to admit. Nicely brought resources in this article, I appreciate to find this type of things. The standard of information is fine and the ending is superb.

  • You know that anything goes once you pick up a work by the zany and terrific Kurt Vonnegut. The man knows how to dish up satire like none other. He’ll spew out his complaints about the government, the world, people, etc., and instead of making it sound like a bunch of inane ranting he uses all of that to create a crazy world filled with outrageous characters and situations. “Breakfast of Champions” is an off-the-wall novel that is about 300 pages of pure hilarity and comedic chaos. Some of the most outrageous characters lie within this masterpiece.Listen: This story revolves mainly around two characters. There’s Kilgore Trout who is an aging and bitter sci-fi writer that nobody has ever heard of (except for one person). His stories have only appeared in very adult magazines. So naturally, he has “doodley-squat” to show for it. The other person that this story is about is a car dealer by the name of Dwayne Hoover, a man that everyone in town considers a “fabulously well-to-do” person. Dwayne is losing his mind and is ever so gracefully slipping into the cozy and wonderful world of insanity. What pushes him over the edge will take place when the two meet and Hoover takes one of Trout’s literary works as reality. The results are unforgettable and hilariously disturbing in this dark and offbeat tale of the flawed human beings who are destroying Mother Earth.

  • good page, I surprisingly benefited from glossing over it, keep up the good writing.

  • You are my aspiration, I possess few web logs and very sporadically run out from post . “Fiat justitia et pereat mundus.Let justice be done, though the world perish.” by Ferdinand I.

Firstly, thank you for the plugin! It was exactly what I was looking for.

I seem to be having some trouble with the exclude tag feature. I am excluding a set of pages with the same tag. I have tried using both “Simple Tags” and “Post Tags and Categories for Pages” with no success. Weirdly, it does work when only including that same tag.

I cannot say I can determine what happens. When excluding the page itself is displayed, but a lot of others are too.

    hello sir,

I there a question, can this be done in the plugin so if you have some time let’s say 400 items then at the end of the page also has pagenavi eg 1,2,3,4 etc to see that the page is not too long we, the one I’d say it can adjust the 100 on each side are only 100 items?

so that the visitors always click on a page can continue if they are looking for something in particular?

would practice answering them I can look very much like to write a mail to.
